$15 for a full Weekend Pass (both Friday and Saturday)
$6 for the Friday Night Sneak Peak Short and The Giant Spider Invasion

For our 5th Anniversary we’re “sweetening the pot” and doing something frightfully fun for those of our audience who prefer to get Advance Tickets! We’ll be drawing 10 random names from the pool of those who purchase advance tickets and those lucky 10 folks will win a goodie bag! BUT! Not just any goodie bag! A custom, string backpack, with our 5th Anniversary logo! The bags will be given to the drawing winners as they check in at the box office to claim their pre-ordered tickets.

We’re working on finalizing a very special Friday night feature presentation that we believe every Wisconsin horror fan will love.

Submissions have closed for the 2025 season of the Sawdust City Fright Fest! The committee is hard at work judging the submissions and official selections will be notified on August 1st!

Just dropping a quick note to announce that submissions are now open for the 2025 season of the Sawdust City Fright Fest. Our 5th season! Mark your calendars for October 10-11, 2025 and make your plans early to head to beautiful Oshkosh, WI for a weekend of films made by folks who love making indie horror as much as the audience who loves watching it.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the 2024 Sawdust City Fright Fest! Our committee dedicates a lot of time to putting together a fun and frightening film festival, and we have been so fortunate to have such amazing films to share with you all. Without you, our audience, we wouldn’t exist.

This year was full of outstanding films, 19 shorts and 3 feature length films over 2 days, and even more outstanding filmmakers. Although over 75% of this year’s line up was homegrown Wisconsin made, there were also fantastic selections from all over the country and around the world. We want to give a great big thank you to all the filmmakers who came out and participated in some Q&A with our own Mark the Movieman and our audience.

As always, we thank The TIME Community Theater for hosting the Sawdust City Fright Fest, and indeed the other mini-fests we do throughout the year. The TIME is a non-profit, entirely volunteer run community theater in beautiful downtown Oshkosh, WI. Not only do they host our fright fest, they show many independent films, screen 2nd run films, as well as host many great live events. all of which are reasonably priced.
